Colleen Hulsey ’19, a biomathematics and environmental science double major, and Tierin Burrow ’19, an environmental science major, received awards at the Memphis Area Geographic Information Council annual conference held Nov. 1-2.

A biomathematics major, she is one of 211 students nationwide to receive the Goldwater Scholarship for 2018-2019, which is the preeminent undergraduate award of its type in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering.

They are seniors Casey Middleton, Erin Deery, Jordan Ankersen, and Cailey Kesselring, mentored by Professor Erin Bodine.
